Long lasting flowers, prefers medium to light soils, tolerates light frost. Useful windbreak or screening plant. Grows well in areas with dry summers. May require water with extended dry spells, especially when young. Can be grown in a pot but size will be affected. Do not fertilize in the garden. Banksia does not like phosphorous.
