The plants mature rapidly and will flower by their third year and start dying off naturally after 10 years. During the first year, provide deep watering every 7–10 days, especially during hot, dry spells. Water at the base of the plant early in the morning to keep foliage dry and prevent fungal issues. Prefers nutrient-poor soil.
